It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Rose Taylor Overton (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Serlimmer Brown and James F. Taylor; her husband Zeb William Overton; her children, Zeb W. Overton, Jr. (Tara), Wendy O. Cantliffe (Jon), Rodney N. Overton (Jody) and Patrick T. Overton (Temple); and her brothers, Preston and Roger Taylor. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Burial will follow in the Averette-Overton Cemetery located on Shock Overton Road in Oxford.The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 am at the Eakes Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford.
