She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Boyd Taylor and Helen Evelynn Nimety; and her son Orville McNew. She is survived by: her husband Randy Bennett; her stepchildren, Lance Bennett (Taylor) and Joy Bennett; her grandchildren, Gracyn, Ashton, Caidin, Savannah and Cierra; and her siblings, Herman Taylor (Susan), Sonny Taylor (Janet), Green (Harry), Daniels (Roy), Lisa Terry and Sandy Oskey (Skip). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sossamon Funeral Home of Oxford (106 Clement Ave, Oxford, NC 27565).
