He is survived by: his mother Mary Thaxton Roberts of Oxford; his siblings, Patricia Roberts Hixson of Creedmoor and David Merritt Roberts of Oxford; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Roberts of Franklinton, Eric, Bryant Hixson of Creedmoor and Wendy Bowling. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
