He is survived by: his wife Renata Thornton; his children, Lorena Thornton-Brown (Victor), Kristina Thornton-Thomas and Otha Thornton Jr. (Shamieka); his siblings, Betty Morgan (Leon), Willie Mae Thornton, Phyllis Green (Ronald), Wanda Pettiford (Bobby), Tonya Correa (Jose), Roosevelt Thornton Jr. (Shirley), Perry Thornton (Orlean) and Jerry Thornton; and also Michael Burwell. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews. church family and friends.
