It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Woods of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Nancy's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Nancy's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Schubert M Miller and Maxine Ball Miller; and her brother Schubert Miller. She is survived by: her son Stuart Woods; her grandchildren, Isabelle Woods and Ethan Woods; her sisters, Marty Finkel and Hannah Van Horn; and her close friends, Betty and Keith Galloway. She is also survived by numerous friends, neighbors.
We ask, in her memory, that in lieu of flowers or food – that you simply buy and plant a flower – either in your own garden, a friend's, a neighbor's, or even a stranger's. The family would like to extend their personal thank you to the ICU team, the 3rd floor nursing team, doctors, and transitional care at Granville Medical System.
