He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Boyd and Joyce Wade Boyd; and his sisters, Sherri B. Brown and Joannie Boyd. He is survived by: his children, Jessica West of Henderson, Tressie Hall of Bunn and Michael Boyd, Jr. of Pennsylvania; his stepdaughter Tricia Thomas of Henderson, NC; his siblings, John Gregory Boyd (Tammy), Wendy Wilkins (Richard) and Trudy Williamson (Tommy); and his aunts, Jean Wade Burwell, Martha Abbott (Snookum) and Wanda Newcomb (John). He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
