He was predeceased by: his parents, James Belle and Phylis Carol Hawkins Belle. He is survived by: his daughter Cherron M. Hoffler (Bo) of Apex; his siblings, Phylis B. Royster (Hess) of Oxford, Steven Belle (Frankie) of Bowie and Reggie Belle (Vonda) of Creedmoor; and his aunt Catherine Betts of Oxford. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
