He is survived by: his son Maurice Harris, Jr. of Oxford; his stepchildren, Aleah Evans (Devon) of Oxford and Justin Harris of Oxford; and his siblings, Lena Oakley of Oxford, Ann Williams of Oxford, Pearlistine Harris of Oxford, Wanda Gipson of Vero Beach, FL and Willie T. Harris, Jr. of Oxford.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Granville Baptist Church (5643 Old Roxboro Rd, Oxford, NC 27565).
