It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Moore (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin R. Moore; her siblings, Willie Oakley, Kate Thornton, Annie Oakley, Betty Hawley, Will Downey Jr. and James Nelson; and her grandsons, Torey Moore, Frederick Moore, Sean Moore and Lando Marrow.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Jean Waller of Oxford, NC, Edith Scott (Fred) of Oxford, NC, Douglas Moore (Debbie) of Oxford, NC, David Moore (Velma) of Oxford, NC and Gary Moore of Oxford, NC; her stepdaughter Catherine Dunston (Wardie) of Stem, NC; her siblings, Pervis Downey (Mageline) of Rougemont, NC and Dorothy Thorpe (Alexander) of Pottstown, PA.; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Roberts (Garland) of Oxford, NC and John Moore of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
