She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Peace and Nancy Esther Williams Peace. She is survived by: her husband Lou Perry Thornton; and her children, Esther Estes of Henderson, Doris Harris of Henderson, Mary Overby of Henderson, Silas Harris, Jr. of Henderson and Willie Mack Harris of Georgia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
