It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Blackwell of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on December 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Barrow Miles and Edna Vaughan Miles; her husband Roy Charles Blackwell; her former husband Robert "Bob" Edwards; her siblings, Evelyn M. Marshburn, Melvin Clarence Miles and Calvin Clinton Miles; and her nephew Clarence Miles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cyndi E. Ayscue (Jeff), Jennifer B. Jones (Dale) and Michele B. Capps (Alan); her grandchildren, Katie Ayscue, Remy Ayscue, Josh Ayscue, Charles Jones, Chelsea Jones, Hailey Jones, Nathan Jones, Kevin Capps, Chris Capps and Holly Capps; her sister Carolyn M. Curl; and her nephews, Butch Marshburn and Jeff Miles.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
