It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Ann Dixon Melton (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Dixon and Minnie Adell Gentry Dixon; her husband Ryland Edward Melton; and her siblings, Otis Dixon, Junior Dixon, Lawrence Dixon and Faye Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Lawrence (David) of Oxford, Lynn Saunders (Craig) of Sutherlin, VA and Barry Edward Melton of Oxford; her sisters, Doris Russ (Vance) of Kinston and Shirley Dean of Moncure; and her grandchildren, Danielle Watkins (Jody), David Lawrence, Jr., Casey Saunders (Erika) and Will Saunders. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Due to the Executive Order regarding the COVID-19, the attendance will be limited to 50 people.
