He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrie Elizabeth Manning Daniel and Otho Allen Daniel; his siblings, Otho Allen Daniel Jr. of Clemmons, NC, Thomas Manning Daniel of Smithfield, NC, Luellen Daniel Scott of Hillsborough, NC and Martha Daniel Rauch of Lake City, Florida; and his wife Rachel Averette Daniel.

He is survived by: his daughter Catherine Scott. He is also survived by five step-children, and 24 step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
