He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Thomas, Sr. and Julia Ann Chavis Peace; and his siblings, Christine Royster, Lois Brandon and Samuel Peace.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Coley Peace; his children, Carolyn Peace, Gail Peace Macon (Cleveland), Tondra Peace-Harris (Jerome), Rita Peace-Thomas (Willie III), Renee Peace (Orlando) and Tommie Lee Peace (Angela); his sisters, Mary Frances Peace and Dorothy J. Peace; and his sister-in-law Ruby Solomon Brandon (Joseph). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.
