She is survived by: her sons, Geoffrey A. Burwell (Monica) of Charlotte, NC and Corey L. Burwell of Durham, NC.; her granddaughters, Gabriela Louise and Maya Mayes Burwell; and her siblings, Julia Burwell (Dionne), Ray Burwell (Sharon) and Matt Mayes. She is also survived by four nieces and several nephews and other relatives, friends.
