She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Peace and Rachel Peace; her children, Claudie Harris (Angela), Annette Royster (Reginald), Donald Harris (Carolyn), Patrick Harris, Thomas Cozart (Lois), Angela Green (James), Brenda Barnes (Larry), Reverend William Cozart (Julia), Dr. Elva Cooper, Minister Ellis Cozart Jr. (Martha), Reverend Anthony Cozart (Lisa) and Lisa Taylor (Roderick); her sisters, Ruth Stainback and Dalphine Cooper; and her sisters-in-law, Christian Chavis and Annabelle Hunt. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
