He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gaskins and Irene Gaskins; his wives, Marilyn Gaskins and Sue Gaskins; and his son Lester Ralph Gaskins.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Johnathon Gaskins (Teri), Brandon Gaskins (Melissa) and Lonni Beth Price (Graham); his great grandchildren, Christopher Gaskins, Ethan Gaskins, Parker Gaskins and Levi Price; his daughter-in-law Pamela Gaskins; his sisters, Edna Kite (Jerome) and Myrtle Lee DeWitt; his stepson Eddie Forrest; and his stepgrandchildren, Chandler Forrest and Tyler Forrest.
