It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lessie Williams Sr. (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Dorsey Williams; his siblings, Carolina Royall Williams, Mae Frances Lewis, Robert Lee, Major Thomas, Dorsey and John Richard Williams; his children, Larry Williams, Alexander Williams of Concord, Calvin Williams (Debbie) of San Antonio, Texas, Denise Marrow (Durwood) of Henderson and Laverne Williams of Winterville; his grandchildren, Cedric Williams (Sarah) of Charleston, Justin Williams (Neisha) of Derwood, Julius "Jay" Williams of Charlotte, Marcus Lyons of Durham, Kirby, Paxton Marrow of Henderson, Leslie "Missy" Williams of Franklinton, Renee Wood of Henderson, Tiffany Williams (Jae Gyeong) of South Korea and Tamika Williams of Denver, Colorado; and his siblings, Shirley Clack of Oxford, Lonnie Williams of Durham, Douglas Williams, Sr. (Joyce Ann) of Oxford and Waverly Williams (Annette) of Oxford. He was also cherished by five great granddaughters; seven great grandsons; and a host of beloved relatives and friends.
