With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Lyon Lee of Oxford, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucas Lyon Lee Jr. and Doris "Dottie" Scarborough Lee; and his brother Michael C. Lee. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Taylor Lee; his daughters, Stephanie Lee and Whitney Lee Granata (Casey); his grandchildren, Banks Granata and Evie Granata; and his nephews, Tim Lee, Justin Lee and Trent Lee.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church (1104 Milton Rd, Durham, NC 27712). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710 or Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 1104 Milton Rd, Durham, NC 27712.
