He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maggie Pearl Cates and Mark Hunt Sr.; his friend Cherrie Edmonds of Philadelphia, PA.; his children, Sherry Edmonds (Ellis) of Oxford, NC, Cortlee Sidney (Tim) of Oxford, NC and Nekevin Cates; his stepdaughters, Althea Garnett (Reggie) of Philadelphia and Connie Porter (Ronald) of Washington; and his siblings, Christine Harris, Janet Green (Corey), Mark Hunt Jr., Tommy Hunt Sr. (Angela) and Ricky Cates Sr.. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
