It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kate Faulkner Mary of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsay F. Austin and L. Fay Traywick Austin; her spouse Francis M. Faulkner, Jr.; her son Francis "Frank" M. Faulkner, III; and her grandson Steven Faulkner.

She is survived by: her sons, Lee A. Faulkner of Henderson and Thomas L. Faulkner of Galveston, TX; her grandchildren, Thomas Kelly Faulkner and Julie Faulkner Wimsatt; and her great grandchildren, Jake, Ella, Hannah and Owen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of oneâ€™s choice.
