He was predeceased by: his wife Addie Magnolia Cozart; his sons, Jimmie Fuller, Johnnie Lee Cozart, Jr., James Cozart and Elvis Cozart; and his siblings, Louise Harris, Elizabeth Steed, Lillie Lee Moss, Bessie Evans, Annie Mae Taborn, Lucy Alston, Willie Cozart and Larry Cozart.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Vallejo (Pedro), Connie Glover (Darnell), Mildred Cozart (Joseph) and Ronnie Cozart; his siblings, Ruby Mae Steed, Barbara Jean Thorpe (Jake), Shirley Williams (Ronnie) and Jimmie Cozart (Julia Mae); his siblings-in-law, Larry Eaton and Mary Cozart; and his daughters-in-law, Barbara Downey and Shirley Fuller. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
