He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Jean Downey of Oxford, NC, JoAnne Downey of Oxford, NC, Denise Evans of Oxford, NC, Deborah Downey of Oxford, NC, Elizabeth Blair of Butner, NC, David Shaw Downey of Durham, NC and Junius "Bro" Downey of Oxford, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
