It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnne Downey (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Downey and Lucille Downey of Oxford, NC.; and her siblings, Frances Downey, Edward Downey and John Rogers.
She is survived by: her sons, Troye Downey of Oxford, NC. and Patrick Downey of Oxford, NC.; her grandchildren, Ryan Marsh, Taylor Allen, Troye (Shawn Downey) and Tarynn Allen; and her siblings, Barbara Downey of Oxford, Denise Evans of Oxford, Deborah Downey of Oxford, Elizabeth Blair of Butner, NC., David Downey of Durham, NC and Junious "Bro" Downey of Oxford, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and caring friends.
