It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Rose (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessy Taylor Rose and Lonnie Rose, Sr.; and his son Jeffrey Rose. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Blalock Rose of Oxford; his children, Sheree Hicks (Louis) of Henderson and Roderick Rose (Shauna) of Okinawa, Japan; his brother Willie Rose (Marylene) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Roderick Jr., Shaunay, Jahmad, Shimisha, Lorell and Joshua; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Rose and Annie Rose.
