He was predeceased by: his siblings, Emma Slaughter and Pastor James T. Slaughter; and his sister-in-law Mary M. Stanback. He is survived by: his children, Tricia Terry (Reginald) of Oxford, NC and Frank Hobgood; his siblings, Edward Stanback, Samuel Clark Slaughter, Warren Slaughter, Joseph Slaughter and Michelle Bowditch (William); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Slaughter. He is also survived by six grandchildren ands six great-grandchildren.
