It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Yeargin Gill (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Wright Yeargin Sr. and Elsie Mangum Yeargin of Virginia; her husband Thomas Woody Gill Sr.; and her granddaughter Jenna Leah Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Woody Gill Jr. (Zana) and Carolyn Gill Colcleasure (Ronny); her grandchildren, Jeana Keeton Currin (Matthew) and Jacey Gill Wood (Gabe); her great grandchildren, Jackie Keith, Jamie Vassar, Emerson Currin, Owen Wood, Lainey Currin, Mazie 'Pearl Wood and Seth Currin; and her siblings, Wilbur Wright Yeargin Jr. and Joice Yeargin Carr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family requests that all attendees wear appropriate face coverings and adhere to the safe practice of social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jean's memory to the Granville County Library, Granville County Historical Society/Museum or Salem United Methodist Church.
