She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Waylon Newton and Dorothy Ann Matthews Newton; her brother Jerry Waylon Newton; and her grandmother Alma Setzer Matthews. She is survived by: her son Christopher Dale Elliott; her daughter-in-law Jessica; her grandchildren, Emersyn Taylor Elliott and Allen Kade Elliott; her brother Robert "Bobby" Newton (Donna); and her cousin Karen "Hope" Jones. She is also survived by her family, and love for her grandchildren.
