He is survived by: his wife Catrelia Smith Latta; his children, James Ellis Tony Latta, Jr. of Durham, Lisa Stainback and Pat Jenkins; his grandchildren, Aziz Latta and P'Tre Patker; and his niece Deborha Bagby (Derek Bagby). He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
