James Alvin Boyd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2021, at the age of 89, James Alvin Boyd of Oxford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Jackson Boyd and Mandy Fitz Boyd; his wife Dorothy Ruth Currin Boyd; and his siblings, Willie Lee "Snookes" Grady (Hunter "Buck"), Lonnie "Bo" Boyd, Inez Jones (Bernie) and Elsie Champion (Herbert).
He is survived by: his children, James Ronald "Ronnie" Boyd (Penny), Patricia "Tricia" Boyd Loughlin (Steven) and Margie Boyd Jernigan (Scotty); and his sister Katherine Boyd Riley. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
It is requested that all attending plan to practice safe social distancing and wear an appropriate face covering.
