We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2023, at the age of 6, Jalayah Cox (Oxford, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Jerrall Cox and Chaditah Garrett; her brother Ja'Maree Cox; and her grandparents, Ailsa Hobson of Creedmoor, Christopher Garrett of Butner, Felicia Cox of Durham, Jerry Burnette of Durham and Donald Kenan of Durham.

Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
