He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Sanford and Susie Downey Sanford; his wife Mae Willie Cozart Sanford; and his daughter Louise Allen. He is survived by: his children, Susie Lyons, Patricia Watkins (Wardell), Shirley Watkins and Rodney Sanford (Allica); his brother John Sanford (Lucy); his brother-in-law Arthur Cozart (Lisa); and his son-in-law Larry Allen. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
