It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Amanda Gee Hobgood (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Gee Stainback. She is survived by: her children, Frances Hobgood-Pettiford of Raleigh, NC., Frank T. Hobgood Jr., James E. Hobgood and Herbert Hobgood of Oxford, NC; and her brothers, Preston Sneed, Robert Gee and Jerome Stainback (Josephine). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
