She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Thornton and Lidia Morris Thornton. She is survived by: her son Tommy Pettiford. She is also survived by three grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and twelve great-great grandchildren.

All services will observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
