He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Ruffin Comer and Sallie Frances Comer; his wife Ida Mae; his brother Marshall T. Comer; his sister-in-law Lucy Mae Comer; and his nephews, Larry Comer and Tony Comer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mable C. Woods (Samuel) of Roxboro, NC, Mary Rogers (John) of Oxford, NC and Barbara Thorpe of New York. He is also survived by One step-daughter, seven nieces, four nephews several great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
