She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Henry Hamme and Marie Anderson Hamme. She is survived by: her husband Carlton G. Garrett of Oxford; her sons, Ronnie D. Garrett (Wanda) of Oxford, Scott W. Garrett (Shelia) of Clayton, Richard H. Garrett (Leslie) of Rougemont and Allen C. Garrett (Laura) of Greenville; and her sister Sallie H. Jackson of Oxford. She is also survived by two granddaughters, five grandsons and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 140 College St. Oxford, NC 27565.
