She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Pettiford; her daughters, Sharon Jones of Oxford, NC, Mary Gooch (Fred) of Oxford, NC and Alice Thorpe (Mike) of Oxford, NC; her grandsons, Dennis Lyons (DP), Frederick Gooch and Terrence Thorpe; her great grandchildren, Malik Harris and Jayden Lyons; and her siblings, David Puryear (Estelle) of Oxford, NC, Juanita Cooper of Oxford, NC and Joyce Tyler of Oxford, NC.
