He is survived by: his wife Alice Walters Yancey; his children, Melinda Yancey Peedin and Franklin Wayne Yancey Jr. (Wendi Parrott Yancey); his grandchildren, Caleb Scott Garner (Jennifer), Abbey Marie Garner, Jacob Wayne Garner (Amanda), Nicolas Wayne Yancey, Claire Elizabeth Yancey, Dylan Thomas Yancey and Logan Cross Peedin; his great grandchildren, Adrianna Garner and Aliyah Webb; and his sister Virginia Ann Veasey (Wayne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
