She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Green, Sr. and Mable Parker Green. She is survived by: her children, James Strater of Oxford, Jacquelin Coffin of Creedmoor, NC and Kristie Daniel of Durham, NC; and her sister Annie Dillard of Washington, DC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (3724 Salem Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Synama Grove Baptist Church (3166 Tar River Rd, Oxford, NC 27565). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
