With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Colman Tarry (Oxford, North Carolina), born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Maurice Nicholson, Jr. and Anna Christian Guy Nicholson; her husband Dr. James Royster Tarry; her son James Hunt Royster Tarry; her grandson James "Jas" Royster Tarry Hewett; and her sisters, Ann Nicholson Adamson and Helen Nicholson Butcher Whether.

She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Christian Tarry Hewett (Darrell) of Simpsonville, SC and Evelene "Lene" Royster Tarry Cash (Harry) of Oxford, NC; her grandchildren, Catherine Cash Doolittle (Eric), John Hunt Cash (Morgan) and Charles Nicholson Hewett (Renea); her great grandchildren, Matthew Hunt Cash, Devin Colman Doolittle and Sophie Lee Cash; and her sister-in-law Peyton Clements Tarry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Murdoch Center, Alpine Cottage in Butner, NC or Samaritan's Purse.
