He was predeceased by: his parents, James Floyd Thorpe and Geneva Thorpe. He is survived by: his wife Esther Marie Brooks; his children, Summer Lawson, Ariann Joi Reed, Tassey Thorpe, Songare Stewart, Floyd T. Jr. Thorpe, Michael Thorpe and Keon Thorpe; and his siblings, Jimmy Thorpe, Harvey Thorpe and Sue Harris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
