It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence George (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Benita Thornton and Shirley Simmons. She is survived by: her brother Enoch; her daughter Adrienne George (Gene Washington); her siblings, Eldora Brinkley, Beverly Stephens and Fredrick Green; her half-sisters, Mary Alice McIntyre, Ennis Miles, Hallie Balbuena and Willia Mills; and her husband David George. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Remember to follow state and CDC guidelines, graveside service is limited to fifty (50) people and to practice social distancing of six feet along with face covering and good handwashing.
