She was predeceased by: her parents, Norfleet Green Blackwell and Rose Edna Jones Blackwell; her spouse Glen Cameron Currin; and her siblings, Mildred Harris, Nelson Blackwell, James C. Blackwell and Charles T. Blackwell.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Currin Currin (James Currin) and Rev. Cameron Currin (Wanda); her grandchildren, James "Ben" Currin, Dr. Elizabeth Currin (Joseph McQuail) and Mitchell Currin (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Miles Currin and Ellis Currin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oxford Baptist Church "Children's Building" 147 Main Street Oxford, NC 27565.
