Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Etta Gooch Bowlin of Oxford, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 86, on March 24, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hugh Bowlin and Ila Mae Glover Bowlin; her sister Jenny Mae Bowlin; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Ayscue and George Stanley.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Alice Stanley of Henderson; her niece Sherie Ayscue Williams (Will) of Henderson; her nephew David Ayscue (Andrea) of Raleigh; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda Long, Logan Gustafson (Clark), Justin Long (Annabel), Cameron Long (Laura) and Kane Ayscue; and also Kent Gustafson.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Peace's Chapel Baptist Church (4044 Fairport Rd, Kittrell, NC 27544).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peace's Chapel Baptist Church Memorial Fund, C/O Frank Frazier, 4149 Sawmill Road, Oxford, NC 27565.
