It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Essolene Waterman (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Tanner and Goldie Jones Tanner. She is survived by: her children, Robin Witherspoon of New York, NY, Charlene Miller of Gainesville, VA and Keith Waterman of Virginia Beach, VA; her nephew Markham Tanner of Virginia Beach, VA; and her brother Joe Tanner of Durham, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
All services will observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
