He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Henry Cooke Sr. and Myrtle Adcock Cooke; his wife Mary Mozelle Jackson Cooke; and his siblings, Donald Cooke, Clyde Cooke, Carl M. Cooke and Dorothy Lunsford.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry Cooke and Bobby Cooke; his nieces, Ashley Vo and Jerrie Cooke; and his stepdaughters, Linda Parker and Diane Parker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
