It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Equila Throckmorton (Oxford, North Carolina), who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Throckmorton and Marion Ruth Throckmorton (Bagby). He is survived by: his wife Diana Richardson-Throckmorton; his children, Tabitha Stevenson (Willis), Tawana Zeigler (Phillip), Equilla Throckmorton Jr., Laneisha McCaskill, Christopher Fountain and Katia Patrick; his siblings, Mandiie Throckmorton (Guie), Mary Ella Reed, Ethel Hicks-Jones (Chester), Hezakiah Throckmorton and Phillip Throckmorton (Jessie); and his sister-in-law Shirley Throckmorton. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Remember to follow state and CDC guidelines, graveside service is limited to fifty (50) people and to practice social distancing of six feet along with face covering and good handwashing.
