She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Williams and Richard Harris. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Nelson Jones; her children, Joslyn Fields (Roger) of Henderson, Deanndre Green of Mays and Joshaus Jones (Sarina Biles); her brothers, Ellis T. Harris of Oxford and Thomas Jones (Cheryl) of Irvington; her grandchildren, Roger Fields, Jr., Lionnel Fields (Mercedes Perry), J'Mauri Fields, Kylei Jones, Shakeerah Green, Shaheed Stewart (Naiyah Henderson), Bayyinah Stewart (Jarell Hallmon), Amar Preston, Najee Smith, Toni Lofton, Ion Green, Jocilynn Biles-Lopez and Jazzmin Biles-Lopez; her sister Mary Branch; and her great grandchildren, Kingston Fields, Kaiden Fields, Alayah Fields, Heaven Fields, Kharter Perry and Mar'leigh Robbs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Funerals Chapel (512 Granville St, Oxford, NC 27565). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (320 Granville St, Oxford, NC 27565).
