She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Fields and Elizabeth Bowden Fields. She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn E. Downey of Oxford and Laverne Thornton of Oxford; and her siblings, Jessie Fields of Oxford, Toney Fields of Oxford, Deborah Cheatham of Henderson, Catherine Daniel of Oxford and Bessie Smith of Oxford. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
