She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Thomas Pittard and Hettie Talley Pittard; her husband Charles Palmer Crute, Jr.; her son Charles Glenn Crute; her sister Maggie Rebecca Pittard Brewer of Oxford, NC; and her cousin Bobby Godsey of Oxford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Crute Wilson (Amos), Connie Crute Gilliland, Karen Crute Poole and Kathy Crute Bowes (Kent); her daughter-in-law Tammy Jackson Crute; and her sisters, Dora Faye Pittard Crute and Tommie Pittard Lumpkin. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Amis Chapel Baptist Church at 9198 Amis Chapel Rd. Oxford, NC 27565.
